Richard Clarke First School lies in a rural situation in the village of Abbots Bromley in close proximity to the towns of Rugeley and Uttoxeter in Staffordshire. |
| There has been a school in Abbots Bromley since the 17th century. The present school dates from Victorian times and this is partly reflected in the style of the main school buildings. The Victorian aspect of the school has been integrated with modern extensions dating from 1994. The school has beautiful grounds including our own wild garden and pond, a large playing field and painted playground and an environmental garden. Miss Shaw is our head teacher overseeing five classes. Miss Brooks is our reception teacher and also Foundation Stage Manager. Mrs Briggs and Mrs Bennett share the Y1 class with Miss Cooper taking Y2. We have 2 classes in Keystage 2 Y3 taught by Ms Cleary and Miss Shaw Y4 by Mrs Hanson.
